Watashitachi no Tamura-kun

A third-year junior-high student becomes fascinated with a girl who claims to have been born on another planet and wants to return. After confessing to her, the girl moves away following her grandmother's death, though they remain in touch through letters until she stops writing during high school entrance exams. In high school, the boy notices a classmate who was previously bullied and isolated. He supports her, helping her regain confidence, and she eventually confesses her feelings for him. He continues writing to the girl from another planet, mentioning the new girl in his letters. Later, the other girl writes back, asking about who this new girl is. A separate two-chapter story follows the boy's friend and his younger half-sister, who dislikes anything related to love and is socially withdrawn. His friend tries to help her become more accepting of affection.
