Yuu Tomonoga was admitted to an American university at thirteen and later joined its graduate program. After losing financial support for his research, he leaves the program to pursue it independently. Returning to Japan to seek funding, he struggles with expenses and faces financial hardship. He receives a call from a former acquaintance and takes a teaching position at a school for girls. The series includes additional chapters: Volume 1 has one extra, Volume 2 has two, Volume 3 has one, and Volume 4 has four and a half.
