Kazumi Ikeda

[Wiki (jp)](https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/池田和美) Kazumi Ikeda is a Japanese animator and character designer currently affiliated with [Kyoto Animation](https://anilist.co/studio/2/). She joined KyoAni in 1995 after graduating from Yoyogi Animation Gakuin and transferred to the studio's Osaka branch [Animation Do](https://anilist.co/studio/929/Animation-Do) when it was established in 2000. She is best known for doing the character designs in KyoAni's anime adaptations of Key's most prominent visual novels, [Kanon](https://anilist.co/anime/1530/Kanon-2006/) and [Clannad](https://anilist.co/anime/2167/Clannad/), marking also her debut as chief animation director on the Kanon remake. She has no blood relationship with late [Shouko Ikeda](https://anilist.co/staff/102736/).
