In a world where only aristocrats have the power to use mana to fight, Melida Angel seems to be the exception; for this reason the girl is suspected of being actually the result of an extramarital affair of her mother. In Kufa, a young assassin, a unique mission is then assigned: try to awaken in Melida the ability to use mana or, in case of failure, kill the girl to prevent the name of the house from being stained.
