Ep. 6: Shin and friends launch deep strike against Morpho railgun while Republic faces ruin

In the Federacy, Shin, his friends, and Frederica survive bombardment caused by the Legion's massive railgun, codenamed Morpho, which destroyed forward bases. Although a cruise missile damaged the weapon, analysts predict it will soon target allied capitals once repaired. With limited options due to its extreme range, the Federacy orders the Nordlicht on a deep strike mission to destroy the railgun. Grethe is furious about sending Shin and his friends on what is expected to be a suicide mission, but none object, preferring to fight the Legion rather than flee like the Republic did. Meanwhile, back in the Republic, the capital and Lena's home are shown to be in ruins as Lena organizes a desperate last stand against the invading forces.
