A-Girl

A-Girl centers on two sisters, Mariko and Mayu, and Mariko's irritable boyfriend, who become entangled with Ichiro, a conceited and flirtatious male model. The narrative is minimal, with limited spoken dialogue. The story unfolds to a backdrop of English-language pop songs composed by Okada Tooru and performed by SEIKA. Silent film-style intertitles are used to maintain the flow of the story.
