C-ko, the daughter of an intergalactic corporate executive, is abducted by Grash and Raiza. Their vessel subsequently crash-lands on a desert planet inhabited by A-ko and B-ko, who survive by scavenging. C-ko arrives directly at their location, immediately disrupting their daily routine and complicating their shared existence. The incident forces the scavengers to deal with the unexpected presence of the executive's child, altering the status quo of their lives on the barren world.
