A mysterious force causes angels to collapse, prompting Lind to attack and trigger an explosion. On Earth, Belldandy, Peorth, and Urd enjoy a tea party with their angels until Lind arrives to declare an emergency regarding the escaped Angel Eater. Lind investigates the temple while Urd and Peorth are incapacitated after losing their angels. Lind reflects on her past failures and warlike nature, finding comfort in Belldandy. Belldandy agrees to act as a lure while Lind stands guard. However, when Lind loses consciousness and Belldandy is attacked, Lind realizes the Angel Eater resides within herself. Hild then appears, revealing her plan to convert devils into demonesses by consuming their angels and replacing them.
