Haruyuki and Kuroyukihime confront Dushka in a low-gravity field using hybrid avatars.
Sep 13, 2012Two girls are attacked by a mysterious avatar inside the Umesato Junior School Local Network. Haruyuki’s subservient behavior distresses Kuroyukihime, prompting her to organize Nega Nebulus after Yuniko reports similar incidents. Kuroyukihime and Chiyuri act as bait to lure the culprit, Dushka, while Takumu and Haruyuki hide. Dushka transports them to the Accel Assault, a low-gravity field, and uses a new Assault Link command to transform. Kuroyukihime realizes they are in a branched part of the Accelerated World and activates Burst Link, allowing the group to become hybrids of their Local Network and Brain Burst avatars. Chiyuri and Takumu fight Dushka while Haruyuki uses Incarnation to become wings for Kuroyukihime, enabling them to defeat her. Back in the real world, Haruyuki apologizes for his attitude and resolves to be more frank with Kuroyukihime.

Haruyuki undergoes fitness training and spa retreat to pass physical re-examination
Jan 31, 2013Following a victory over the Blue Legion, Haruyuki must pass a physical re-examination in two weeks to continue participating in territory matches. Chiyuri attempts to improve his condition for a week without success. Fuuko then invites the Nega Nebulous to a weekend spa treatment. During the hot spring visit, Chiyuri and Fuuko discuss Haru’s past before he gained weight. Haru discovers an old video game that reminds him of his father, though he cannot remember the events surrounding his parents' divorce. Kuroyukihime appears and confesses her fear that Haru’s improved fitness might cause him to abandon Brain Burst and leave her. Haru promises to stay by her side. Kuroyukihime hugs him in gratitude, leaving him stunned and bedridden from exhaustion. Despite this, Haruyuki successfully passes the re-examination and joins the Nega Nebulous in their next battle.
