Ep. 1: Saku Otonomiya starts at a new school and meets Kai Akizuki and Sosuke

Saku Otonomiya begins his studies at a new school while Hinata Mitsutsuka travels from home to meet him, as they knew each other in middle school. Upon introduction, Saku sits near Kai Akizuki, who later assists Mike with his books during a break. Sosuke encounters Saku eating alone and subsequently visits his sister in the hospital. Afterward, Saku sings the 'Cloudy Day' song, which Sosuke overhears. The two meet again on the rooftop, where Sosuke and Uta express their desire to write songs for Saku to perform.
