Rain causes a leak in Akari's dorm, forcing her to move in with Sumire Hikami. After receiving new Aikatsu Phones and cards from Orihime, the two attempt to connect before Sumire leaves for lessons. Akari invites Sumire to audition for a day as Ichigo's manager, a role that would increase Akari's rivals. Sumire, who usually views peers as competitors, is pleased to practice with a friend. Sumire wins the audition, while Akari is content with their strengthened friendship despite not winning herself.
