Starlight Academy hosts a Start Dash event featuring Sakura, Otome, and Mizuki as special guests to celebrate the upcoming Starlight Queen Cup. While Akari and her friends are eager to compete, Sumire hesitates to register because she is uncertain about the type of Queen she wishes to become. After discussing their motivations for becoming idols with Akari and Hinaki, Sumire discovers her own answer and decides to participate alongside the others. Following her registration, Maya calls Sumire forward and creates a new Premium Dress specifically for her to wear during the performance.
