Ep. 34: Anne learns Diana's future plans and reflects on Gilbert during a snowstorm
Aired on September 9, 1979

34
Anne discovers Diana's future aspirations and, after listening to Marilla, recognizes the value of others' perspectives. She accepts Diana's choice, and the two renew their vow. Later, at school during extra classes, Anne feels isolated from Gilbert's group. When a severe snowstorm strikes, Anne observes Gilbert managing the crisis effectively and organizing the evacuation of everyone from the school. This display of competence leads Anne to view him more favorably, contrasting her earlier feelings of exclusion with a pleasant appreciation of his actions during the emergency.
