Ep. 46: Chacha and friends confront Gekkō and the cursed coins in Goldsmith town
Chacha and companions approach Goldsmith, the kingdom’s minting center, where the Daimaō has ordered the evil ninja Gekkō to produce cursed coins that induce greed. Ninja ambush the group while hunting the mayor, but Orin and her grandfather arrive to assist Chacha in repelling the attackers. Gekkō retreats after warning of future mercylessness. The mayor explains the coin’s origin and requests aid. Chacha’s group infiltrates the inner city to free imprisoned villagers forced to mint coins but is captured. Gekkō holds Orin and her grandfather hostage, prompting Chacha to reveal her true identity. She transforms into the Magical Princess, summons the Phoenix Sword, and engages Gekkō in a rooftop battle. Chacha defeats him, retrieves a coin, and frees the villagers, though the Daimaō remains displeased with her interference.
