Akebi Komichi has been accepted into Roubai Academy, the middle school her mother, Yuwa, attended. Since seeing her favorite idol, Fukumoto Miki, in a sailor uniform, Komichi has dreamed of wearing one herself. She dons the brand-new sailor uniform Yuwa made for her and heads to her entrance ceremony full of hope to make new friends. However, she soon notices that all other students are wearing blazers instead. It turns out the school's official uniform has changed from a sailor uniform to a blazer, leaving Komichi disappointed as she realizes her dream outfit is no longer the standard attire for the institution.
