The anime centers on five members of the virtual idol group And2girls. It is set in a future where Shang Jing City has grown into a global metropolis following a period of major power outages, thanks to advances in energy resources. Idols are now widely recognized and popular. The girls attend Music&Art Private High School, where they meet others who share their ambitions. Together, they work hard toward a shared objective: competing in a match to reach the top of the Star List and demonstrate their abilities.
