Anemone

This work was created to explore themes of hope and the desire to live in the future. It addresses the ongoing issue of suicide in Japan, where over 30,000 people have died by suicide annually for the past decade—approximately ten times the number of soldiers who died in the Iraq War. The creator acknowledges the limits of their ability to solve this national issue but expresses a desire to use animation as a means to inspire some viewers, encouraging them to awaken their own dreams and desires, and to find the courage to face the future.
