Appleseed α

In the 22nd century, Deunan Knute and Briareos travel through the ruined remains of New York, hired by a local warlord to destroy bipedal combat machines. While engaged in the mission, they meet Iris and Olson, who are also on an assignment. The two groups form an alliance and join forces. Iris's objective is to stop a hostile cyborg named Talos from seizing a hidden human weapon. Talos manipulates Iris into activating a massive war machine.
