Babel Nisei (2001)

Koichi is a student who discovers he is the reborn form of an alien guardian tasked with protecting Earth. He joins three aliens with extraordinary abilities to confront a cult led by a malevolent figure. Their mission spans from Asian deserts to Manhattan and culminates in a confrontation with the cult leader in a secret facility in the Swiss Alps. The conflict is intense and dangerous, with the world's survival depending on Koichi's capacity to control his emerging psychic abilities and use them against humanity's foes.
