After 2 weeks of this intense practice, Coach Miura invites him to observe the top seeds at the All Japan Junior tournament. During the event, Eiichirou encounters another dedicated note-taker and is surprised to discover that this individual is the 2-seed. Eiichirou recognizes that his detailed data collection, combined with proper physical conditioning, will enable him to control his opponents' shots effectively.
