Ep. 22: Dan confronts Anubias in Bakugan Interspace while Mag Mel nears resurrection with the Gate and Key.

Mag Mel possesses the Gate and Key, requiring only Dan’s Code Eve portion to resurrect. Dan and Shun defend Bakugan Interspace against Chaos Bakugan, splitting up to defeat them while Team Anubias struggles to escape. Anubias tricks his former allies, kidnaps Noah, and summons Dan to the arena. Dan battles Anubias, who uses Horridian, Bolcanon, Krakenoid, and Krowl, fusing the latter two into Mutant forms. Dan counters with Drago, Zenthon, and Zenthon Titan, defeating several opponents. Anubias pushes his power to the limit, destroying his arm bracelet, which allows Mag Mel to absorb Anubias’s energy. Dan attempts to save Anubias but is overpowered by Mag Mel. Consumed by hatred for revenge, Dan resolves to destroy Mag Mel once and for all.
