Ep. 26: New Year Begins as Muroe High Kendo Club Recruits Freshmen Shinobu and Makoto

Months after the national kendo competition, Rin invites Tamaki to see the Blade Bravers movie. At Muroe High, two freshmen, Shinobu Toyama and Makoto Iwasa, arrive to join the kendo club. Existing members attempt to deter them with silly tricks, but a subsequent sparring match sparks the newcomers' enthusiasm. It is revealed that Shinobu and Makoto are the siblings of former club members who had previously quit. Meanwhile, Toraji returns to school after resolving a dispute with a woman he met at a store. The episode concludes with Tamaki encountering a mysterious woman with long purple hair and blue eyes, suggesting the possibility of a future season.
