Kasumi Toyama enrolls at Hanasakigawa High and joins various clubs to recapture the "Star Beat," a sparkling sensation she felt as a child. She quickly befriends classmate Saaya Yamabuki during this search. While walking home, Kasumi follows golden stars to a pawn shop owned by Arisa Ichigaya's family, where she finds a star-shaped guitar. Later, watching Glitter Green perform at the live house Space awakens her buried emotions. Inspired by this experience, Kasumi resolves to form a band to pursue the feeling she desires.
