Two planets revolve around a dark sun, bound by a shared fate. One planet, Izumo, birthed humanity, who named their world below "Izumo" and the sky above "Takamagahara." Beings called Yaoyorozu-no-kami descended from the sky, not to conquer but to destroy. In response, Izumo waged a war against these entities, slaying the "Sovereign of Revelation" and crafting the first Edict Edge from its remains. Those who wield these swords can channel divine power to fight the Kami. Over time, Izumo defeated many Kami, forging twelve Sentinels and using the power of the Edict Edges to transform their world from darkness into neon-lit cities. However, the history of Izumo abruptly ends, and the planet vanishes without explanation. Scholars debate its fate, but no answers exist. The universe cycles endlessly, and Izumo remains an unresolved fragment of this eternal recurrence.
