The Earth Defense Club, often dismissed as a do-nothing group at Binan High School, spends their days in leisure. Their routine is abruptly interrupted by the sudden appearance of a talking pink Wombat. This creature requests that the club members assist in saving the planet by harnessing the power of love. In response to this unusual plea, the boys agree to transform into magical warriors called Battle Lovers, marking a significant shift from their previous ordinary high school existence to a mission-driven role.
