Secre warns the Believers about strong natural magic blocking their path to the Spade Kingdom, but they persist. Magna departs to contact Yami while Asta arrives and is worshipped by the group. Asta demands Secre and his Grimoire back, but Dazu and Bow refuse, preferring death over their former lowly lives. They reveal plans to use devil powers to destroy the Clover Kingdom in revenge. Asta criticizes their cruelty, having suffered similarly but wanting to help others. He offers himself as a replacement for Secre, but the Believers restrain him, Noelle, and Secre. Bow explains that Dazu’s Catalyst Magic will combine their weak magic into one powerful spell to survive the natural magic, believing the sacrifice is worth it if even one Believer survives to gain devil powers. Magna arrives with Yami.
