Ep. 78: Asta and Yuno advance while Asta confronts Zora about his tactics during the second round.

Asta and Yuno advance past the first round, irritating the Clover King and Solid. In the second round, Asta’s team faces Kirsch’s team. Zora anticipates humiliating a royal, but Asta questions his cheating. Zora claims no rules were broken. Kirsch covers the battlefield with flower petal illusion magic. Asta uses Anti-magic demons to unleash Black Hurricane, erasing petals, nullifying illusions, and disabling Zora’s traps. Irritated, Zora listens as Asta explains he values teamwork over tactics. Zora recalls his father and agrees to cooperate, revealing his magic’s mechanics. Kirsch, furious that his spell was ruined by peasant magic, abandons Magna and Sol to attack alone. Asta attempts to lure Kirsch into Zora’s new traps, but Kirsch avoids them using detection magic. As Kirsch attacks Asta, he suddenly falls into a pit Zora dug by hand to evade detection. Asta knocks Kirsch unconscious and thanks Zora for their teamwork.
