The intense conflict between Ichigo and Uryuu has attracted hundreds of hollows to Karakura Town, putting Ichigo's friends in grave danger. Chad is compelled to engage a hollow in combat to protect Karin. During this fierce struggle, he achieves a breakthrough in perception, allowing him to see the hollow with clarity. This realization triggers the manifestation of a new power: an armored right arm capable of launching energy blasts, known as "The Right Arm of the Giant." This event occurs within the Agent of the Shinigami arc, specifically marked as episode 12 out of 20 in the series.
