Hinamori attacks Ichimaru, believing he murdered Aizen, but Squad Three lieutenant Izuru Kira intervenes. Hitsugaya halts the conflict and orders both parties incarcerated, threatening to kill Ichimaru if he harms Hinamori. Meanwhile, Chad proceeds through the Seireitei, prompting Squad Eight captain Shunsui Kyouraku to attempt his interception. In another location, Ichigo, Ganju, and Hanatarou travel toward Rukia’s prison but are immobilized by Kenpachi’s overwhelming spiritual pressure. This segment represents part 15 of 21 within the Soul Society: The Sneak Entry arc.
