Blink in the Desert

A sudden wave of malice appears, fleeting and unpredictable, like a flapping insect. A young hermit, repulsed, kills a winged insect he encounters. An elephant witnesses the act but remains silent. Afterward, the boy becomes the target of shadowy figures resembling the insects.
