During summer vacation, the class gathers for play rehearsals, but Nanami is frustrated by Motoharu's repeated absence despite her desire to see him. This disappointment continues at the summer festival, where she and other girls dress up, yet he still fails to appear. Consequently, Nanami decides to visit his house directly. Yano observes her internal struggle before she rings the doorbell. After entering the residence, the two spend time together reflecting on Motoharu's history, specifically recalling his past relationship with his deceased former girlfriend.
