Kokuyou, a ninja driven solely by the desire for strength, confronts Boruto and his allies. Having already defeated the Leaf ninja who were pursuing Mitsuki, Kokuyou possesses overwhelming power that forces Boruto’s team into a desperate corner. Just as the situation seems hopeless, reinforcements arrive to assist them. With the help of this backup, Boruto and his friends manage to defeat Kokuyou. They successfully overcome the powerful opponent and finally locate Mitsuki, ending his disappearance. This event occurs during the Mitsuki's Disappearance Arc on 9/22.
