A decade ago, Buranki descended upon Earth and were destroyed by Banryuu Reoko and her Buranki, Entei, marking the start of their reign of terror. In the present timeline, Azuma and his companions escape Shinjuku and encounter a woman named Horino. She reveals that Azuma's mother was the sole individual to ever defeat Reoko. Horino indicates that Azuma has further information to uncover and guides him to the Kazuki library for additional knowledge regarding these past events.
