Ep. 2: Aichi and Kai battle to uncover memory loss truths while preparing for the Vanguard Fight Circuit.

Aichi meets Kai after losing his Royal Paladin deck, discovering Kai uses a Narukami deck with no memory of Kagero cards or Aichi’s past. They fight to find answers, during which Kai regains his memories but chooses to keep his current deck. Kai explains that Aichi is limiting himself by refusing to use Gold Paladins. To demonstrate breaking these limits, Kai activates Limit Break with Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion, attacking all front-row units due to having four or more damage, and wins. Afterwards, they watch a commercial for the Vanguard Fight Circuit, a global tournament sponsored by Takuto Tatsunagi, who caused their deck changes. Deciding to use the tournament to reach Takuto, they part ways. Aichi later discovers that Team Q4 has received an invitation to the event.
