Ep. 20: Kamui investigates rumors at an abandoned facility and confronts Kensuke Handa.

Acting on rumors, Kamui visits an abandoned facility where he encounters Mamoru and Team Trinity Dragon. A robot pursuit leads them to a secret laboratory, revealed to be a Stride Force relay station for Myoujin. They learn that FICAs have been collecting Stride Force to summon Cray units for Myoujin’s ambitions. The facility manager, the unstable Kensuke Handa, separates Kamui from his companions and challenges him to a cardfight. While Mamoru and the others attempt to flee, Kamui defeats Handa and demands information about Myoujin. The facility then triggers a self-destruct sequence, causing Handa to fall into a trap. Mamoru returns to rescue Kamui from the explosion. Although all survive, Mamoru expresses frustration over his unwitting role in advancing Myoujin’s plans.
