Ep. 4: Shion loses his inheritance and status after Ace orchestrates a deceptive card battle and frames him.

Shion is designated as the Kiba heir and receives an ancient sword said to glow for the true successor. He is immediately challenged by Ace, whose corporation aims to seize the Kiba foundation. Ace has manipulated Shion’s uncle, Utsugi, to steal the sword. During the duel, both use cards from random booster packs. Seeing the sword glow in Utsugi’s possession, Shion loses his resolve and the match. Ace reveals the fight was recorded to damage Shion’s reputation, the sword’s glow was a trick, and Utsugi was complicit. Ace successfully takes over the company, forcing Shion to live alone while his parents and Iwakura seek assistance elsewhere. Shion vows revenge on Ace for the betrayal and loss.
