Chargeman Ken!

In 2074, an alien threat emerges as the Juralians, shape-shifting invaders, plot to conquer Earth with various bizarre schemes, including flesh-eating butterflies, booby-trapped scientists, an evil doll, alien mummies, and otherworldly threats. Ken Izumi, a 10-year-old boy, becomes the superhero Chargeman Ken after obtaining weapons, armor, and accessories that allow him to defend his family, robot companion Barican, and humanity. His mission is to thwart the Juralians' 65 plans for domination. The series originally aired in Japan in 1974 and was later rediscovered in 2007 by fans who appreciated its unusual animation, strange art style, and poorly executed storylines, some of which were later banned from television.
