Cheng Huang Lu

A string of grisly crime scenes leaves human victims transformed into demonic creatures, and surveillance footage points to a man who looks exactly like the male lead. Carrying a warrant issued by the underworld, the female lead arrests him to bring him before Heibai Wuchang for judgment. Insisting he is innocent, he coerces her into joining his search for the real culprit. The further they investigate, the more they uncover a disturbing plot tying the murders to the suspect's own past.
