The following day, Chihaya undergoes three practice matches against Rion Yamashiro, struggling to play using only her left hand. During lunch, Rion explains she plays for her grandmother’s rice balls rather than to become a queen, though she aims to win as vice president. In the third match, Midori advises Chihaya on posture, noting Rion’s jealousy over never receiving such guidance. Rion reveals she identifies cards by pitch, not just syllables. Chihaya then plays Taichi, who wins and requests she use her right hand next.
