Zarel escorts Prince Charles to painter Zore for a portrait, while Catherine and Jeanne insist on the best artist. Cinderella searches for Zore, her mother's favorite painter. Zore demands 100 gold pieces to paint her sisters but insists on painting Cinderella first. He employs dark arts to slowly steal her soul, causing her weakness. With Patch's assistance, Cinderella escapes, yet Prince Charles remains in peril. Unaware he is her friend, she begs Zore to finish her portrait before his to protect him. Patch and animal friends rescue Charles, restoring his soul and strength to save the unresponsive Cinderella. Before her soul is trapped forever, Paulette the fairy godmother uses magic to defeat the painter.
