Following a kiss with Mei in the chairman's office, Yuzu avoids her and suffers from intense guilt. Meanwhile, Momokino Himeko, the student council vice president and Mei's childhood friend, grows suspicious of the events in the chairman's office. Himeko meets Yuzu on their day off to confront her, revealing that Mei is incredibly sad, comparing her distress to the pain she felt when her father, the current chairman, left her. This revelation shocks Yuzu. As Yuzu walks weakly toward the station to go home, Mei suddenly appears before her, setting the stage for their next interaction.
