The intense conflict between Clare and Priscilla continues within a volcano, observed by Isley. Priscilla, unaware of her true nature as an Awakened Being, easily deflects Clare, whom she mistakes for Teresa. Meanwhile, Jean and Raki journey toward the combat zone. Just as Priscilla is about to kill Clare, Miria, Helen, and Deneve arrive to rescue her. Although the trio gains a temporary upper hand, Priscilla unleashes her full power, having not previously awakened completely. She swiftly defeats all three Claymores. Resolute in avenging Teresa, Clare releases her energy to challenge Priscilla.
