Leila Malcal, now a Lieutenant Colonel, leads W-0 after preventing a kidnapping attempt on a European army general. She recruits the three would-be kidnappers to fill pilot shortages, as they seek a sense of belonging. Ordered to conduct a commando raid behind enemy lines, Leila joins the mission to minimize losses. During the operation, Akito becomes overwhelmed by violent impulses, killing indiscriminately. He soon encounters the individual who cursed him with this uncontrollable aggression, someone he knows well.
