Ep. 25: The final battle for Damocles concludes with Lelouch's death and Suzaku becoming Zero to ensure world peace.

The conflict for the Damocles reaches its climax as Lelouch confronts Nunnally for the key while Suzaku and Kallen fight. Lelouch uses his Geass to secure the key and broadcasts his absolute control over the world's FLEIJA weapons. Two months later, he leads a convoy to execute rebels but is intercepted by Zero. Suzaku, who faked his death, reveals himself as Zero and stabs Lelouch with his former sword. This act fulfills the Zero Requiem, a plan where Lelouch unites the world's hatred against himself. Suzaku executes Lelouch to allow humanity to enter a peaceful future, bearing the burden of being Zero. Lelouch dies having rebuilt the world, while C.C. reflects on how he overcame the solitude typically imposed by Geass.
