Daisuke's grandfather warns that Dark will steal the Agate Links necklace. Takeshi Saehara visits the museum, photographing a mysterious girl he loves. Dark arrives to seal the item but meets the girl, who asks for one more day. He agrees. That night, Daiki Niwa reveals he was Dark 40 years ago and gave the Agate Link to Menou Kurashina before she died, sealing her spirit inside. The next day, Dark attempts the theft again. Takeshi tries to intervene, moving Menou with his kindness. Dark successfully steals the necklace but reverts to Daisuke. Menou mistakes Daisuke for the phantom thief she has waited for since 40 years ago.
