Similar to the preliminaries, six units must complete an obstacle course to qualify for U4 Fes. Merm4id is eliminated after stepping on trap tiles that cause a drop. Rondo falls from a ledge when Hiiro accidentally releases Nagisa's hand. Photon Maiden, Yuka, and Esora are sent into a swamp pit after answering a quiz incorrectly. Shinobu and Muni trip as closing walls approach, and Rei and Maho fail to prevent their elimination. Rinku and Kyoko escape the immediate danger, but Kyoko is eliminated when her shirt gets caught between the closing walls.
