Miyu Kōzuki relocates to a Buddhist temple after her parents depart for NASA employment in the United States. She stays with Hoshou Saionji, a monk and family friend, alongside his teenage son, Kanata. When Hoshou travels to India for religious training, Miyu remains with Kanata. A UFO subsequently crashes into the residence, revealing an alien infant named Ruu and a caretaker creature called Wanya. The group agrees to cohabit at the temple. Tension arises when Kanata accidentally observes Miyu showering, mirroring an incident where Miyu previously saw him changing clothes. This arrangement establishes the new living dynamic for the mixed household.
