The group visits the beach, where Mikan encounters the Lover's Tree. She explains that kissing someone beneath it during a lunar eclipse ensures they remain together forever. Since a lunar eclipse occurs that day, Mikan develops feelings for Wanya in his transformed state. She attempts to confess her love to him, but Chris interrupts the moment. During the commotion, a tree nearly collapses on Miyu. Kanata rescues her, but Miyu accidentally kisses him on the cheek.
