Hosho warns Kanata against moving the Koishi stones, as doing so would release the sealed spirits. The group gathers at Saionji Temple for a Kimodameshi, an event testing courage. During the gathering, Santa shares ghost stories to frighten the attendees. Wanya accidentally topples the stones, unleashing the spirits. The participants struggle to defend themselves against the supernatural entities. They eventually discover that the spirits and a girl were not attacking but searching for a lost love letter. The misunderstanding is resolved as the true purpose of the spirits' presence becomes clear, ending the chaotic encounter without further conflict.
