Daisetsusan no Yuusha Kibaou

Fang is the offspring of a hunting dog and a wolf that fled from a circus. Despite being raised by a human family, he is ultimately an animal bound for the wild. The narrative explores the tensions between humans and wildlife in a realistic natural setting. The story builds to a confrontation in which Fang returns from the circus to face a large brown bear responsible for killing his family.
